About the Resource Person
Dr. Suguna E
She is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine at SMVMCH, Pondicherry. Apart from her routine teaching responsibilities, she is active in conducting workshop on communication skills and palliative care for medical interns and research orientation for post-graduates. She is also involved in conducting workshop on communication skills for nurses as a part of NABH training program. She is faculty in-charge for running Community Based Palliative Care program in five adopted villages and also runs Pain and Palliative Care Clinic in the hospital. She has received training in palliative care at Institute of Palliative Medicine, Kozhikode, Kerala and in medical education from Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Porur, recognised by Medical Council of India.
